The 3DS version of Ocarina of Time features updated graphics and improved controls, making use of the 3DSs dual screens and touch screen. I'll try and make a YouTube video soon on this because I assume people will have the same issue and I'll try to point the things out that I had trouble with. But if you want to download let's say the Windwaker style texture pack, make sure you delete the HTS file that was automatically created first before adding another pack. So if you want to remove the texture pack you just downloaded, you'll have to remove the folder containing the png files PLUS that HTS file in the cache folder also.or it will keep loading the same texture pack. Quick note when you open the game with the texture pack enabled, it automatically makes a HTS file in the cache folder. Ig maybe I have to unzip it directly into that directory (RetroArch/system/mupen64plus) instead of copy and pasting? Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D 4K Texture Pack Which one of these texture packs would be best in your guys opinion What is the process of downloading these texture packs for RetroArch, if thats possible.p. Ig it carried over SOME textures cuz it WORKED!!! Sort of.again weird. But windows pops up a message while moving the folder over saying, "path is too long". I tried creating a folder in that directory called 'hires_texture' and moving the texture pack containing all of the png files to it. Just don't know what to name it for RetroArch to know how to grab from it. (I know it says Xbox but it's also for RetroArch) and he has a file called 'hires_texture' in the same directory (RetroArch/system/mupen64plus) so kinda not sure where to go from here cuz I'm pretty sure THATS the folder I need to create. I'm guessing I'd have to create one.I found a video: But there's no folder called "HD textures folder". I downloaded from another source and got a folder containing a lot of other folders named 'actors, monster, etc' that contained png files which looks to be more correct for an actual texture "pack". I also tried doing what the video says (putting the HTC/HTS file into the cache folder but it did nothing). If someone can make a video on this and send a link lol that would be awesome□ I also saw that some of these might be for the 3Ds so just making sure they'll work for the N64 emulators. What is the process of downloading these texture packs for RetroArch, if that's possible.p.s I hope this doesn't wipe my saved games*** Which one of these texture packs would be best in your guys opinion? Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D 4K Texture Pack Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time - N64 Texture Packs Will they work on RetroArch? Or would I have to get a specific emulator to use them? There's a couple of sites I found that I'll list here: How do I download the texture packs.I'm using RetroArch and I don't know if these only work for a specific emulator or not. I just never downloaded and used texture packs before and have a couple of questions. For reference, the texture pack is called 'OCARINA OF TIMEHIRESTEXTURES.htc' and the rom is called 'OCARINA OF TIME.z64'. Hello I'm trying to find where's the best place I can download texture packs for Ocarina of Time for an N64 emulator. I flipped 'Use high res textures/Alpha channel' to true in the game settings, restarted Retroarch, and the texture pack just will not take. ![]()
